The Latino Student Union serves as a cultural, educational, political, social outlet for the Latino community at Sheldon High School. We celebrate our heritage through events that allow us to proudly display aspects of all Latino cultures, while educating others of our traditions and customs.
The LSU creates a voice for the Latino community by identifying the issues of Latino students on campus and advocating to the school administration to address these needs. We also strive to serve the Latino community off campus through community service events projected at the upward movement of our community.
The LSU host numerous social events such as BBQs, dances, and field trips The LSU serves as a home away from home by giving students the opportunity to meet other Latinos and form lasting friendships while creating an overall sense of familia on campus.
