Open House and Curriculum Night 2012
Tuesday, September 18, 20127:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

We’ll have lots of activities and options for parents to choose from prior to visiting classes. We will open our doors at 6:00 p.m. for parents that would like to take a look around the campus, attend the PTO Social in the cafeteria and meet our counselors. Our counselors will be making two presentations about Naviance in the Seminar/Lecture Hall (Room C-9). Session 1 from 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and Session 2 from 6:35 p.m. -7:05 p.m.

Naviance is a college and career readiness platform that helps connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals. Naviance helps students and families connect what students do in the classroom to their life goals, including finding colleges and careers based on their personal skills and areas of interests. All parents are welcome to attend either presentation.

Our Parent Teacher Organization will host a social in the cafeteria starting at 6:30 p.m. 

Please be sure to allow yourself enough time to stop by the Cafeteria to get information about our PTO, to pick up your students class schedule, a school map, eNews information, schedules of the evening and to enter our “Back to School Raffle”.  You will have a chance to win apparel, Season Family Sports pass, and other great fun prizes.  Enter to win!   Be sure to review the displays in the cafeteria that provide information about our organizations and clubs at the high school. We will have treats and coffee, so come join us.

Period 0 will begin promptly at 7:10 p.m. and each class will last 10 minutes.

In each class you will hear a general overview of the course content, learning goals and objectives, classroom expectations, and then you will have 6 minutes to find your next class. Student volunteers from our National Honor Society will be on hand throughout the building to assist and direct you.

Be sure to visit the Library and the Career Center.

You can enter the Library through the courtyard and the “B” hallway with the Library sign.

The Career Center is located in the main office.

Reminder: September 21st is an early release day for all students. School will dismiss at 11:51 a.m. and the cafeteria will serve lunch from 11:51 a.m. to 12:21 p.m.
