- Thursday, April 9th is our schoolwide Testing Day. Some of these tests will require you to have a computer in order to access the test. Please make sure you have your laptop fully charged with you when you arrive in your assigned testing locations. This is especially true for all 9th graders, all 11th graders, and some 12th graders who are taking the ASVAB Test. 10th graders who are taking the PreACT will not need their technology access for the day.
- Sheldon Girls Lacrosse has their first HOME game tonight at 7pm versus South Eugene.
- Remember, our cell phone and Personal Electronic Device policy: “Off and Away All Day!”. Thanks to everyone for all of your help with this policy; Most students are doing well with it! If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it will be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day. With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned. If you prefer, you can voluntarily leave it in the front office for the day. Remember the SHS ROSE - be Respectful of Others, yourSelf, and your Environment.
- Students, please bring your laptop to school every day fully charged. Your laptop is an important part of your daily work routine and is needed to complete your class assignments. Loaner laptops are only given out in the office if you are taking a quiz/ test in the classroom.
- This upcoming Tuesday (4/7), the SheldonSTRONG Mental Health Club will meet in Ms. Perdue's Choir Room, F-3 at lunch. As always, we strive to learn ways to be the best versions of ourselves.
- Prom guest passes must be completed and returned by the end of the day on Thursday, April 9th. They do require multiple signatures, so make sure to get them turned in at the office as early as possible!
- Dance Team Info night is May 19th at 6pm in the library. Meet the coaches and get the inside scoop on what’s ahead. We’ll be covering everything you need to know before tryouts, including the practice schedule and fee details. This is a mandatory kickoff meeting for all players planning to try out, so come say hello and get prepared for a great year! Any questions contact coach Malia.
- The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets today at lunch in room F-6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts, learn about queer history, and build community.
