• Seniors!  Would you like to visit local elementary/middle schools to celebrate graduation with your teachers and students?  If so, then please look in Canvas for a google form to sign up for the "Senior Grad Walk" on June 4th! Also pick up your permission slip in the front office.  This is for Sheldon seniors only! Seniors will wear cap & gown and high-five teachers and students from Cal Young, Monroe, Willagillespie, Buena Vista, Holt, and Gilham.  Your former teachers and the new elementary students will be excited to celebrate with you.  Permission slips due by Friday, May 29th so we can have an accurate count for our bus order.  Go Irish! 

• Be a part of the award-winning Sheldon Choral Department. Auditions for Varsity Choir and Dublinaires are May 28th through June 5th. No experience is necessary. If auditioning isn't for you, but you'd still like to join the program, you can simply sign-up for Concert Choir and you're in! Want to learn more or sign-up for an audition time? Check out our Instagram, @sheldonchoirs, or grab an info sheet outside of the choir room, F-3. Don't miss this opportunity to raise your voice and be part of something amazing. 
• Jewish student union will be meeting this Friday, May 22nd, in room C-2 during lunch. Come join us to celebrate the culture and to plan for Springfest. Both Jewish students and allies are invited.  
• Come to New York Times Gaming Club in Ms. Suzie's class, C-10, today during lunch for Wordle and Connections.  We will be collaborating on Wordle Unlimited and Connections Unlimited. Come for fun games and great community. We will have snacks.
• There will be an IHS Celebration at Oakway center. It starts at 5pm today and there is a raffle with prizes. 
• All are welcome to come to F-5 today for the Art Club. Join peers to meet over drawing and talk. All are welcome. 
• Win a $5 Dutch Bros gift card from the library! Every time you check out a book, write your name on a slip and drop it in the drawing bin. The more books you check out, the more chances you get to win.Drawings happen three times a week, and the bin resets each week—so keep reading and keep entering!
• The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets on Tuesdays at lunch in room F-6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts, learn about queer history, and build community.
• Sheldon, come to the Divergence and Disability Alliance, our club meets every Monday in B-8, which is Dr. Clementi’s classroom. Every week, we share a meal and support strategies for students who are both neurodivergent and disabled. Stop by and learn how to help support yourself and your peers. Lunch is provided. See you Monday in B-8!
• The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be tonight, 5:30-8pm in the Sheldon Auditorium.
• NEXT WEEK is Springfest and Spirit Week!  Dress up all week to celebrate the end of the year and the lovely Spring weather:  Lunch will be 1 HOUR LONG all week!
  • TUESDAY: Class Colors (9th White, 10th Black, 11th Blue, and 12th Green)
  • WEDNESDAY: Adam Sandler Day (Everything big and Baggy!)
  • THURSDAY: Tropical Thursday (Wear your best warm-weather, island attire)
  • FRIDAY: “Tide” Dye (Tie-Dye)
• Remember, next Monday is the Memorial Day Holiday and there will be NO SCHOOL.  See you all back on Tuesday of next week!
