Tuesday November 3rd, 2026 

• At Sheldon High School, we believe that every person deserves to feel safe, welcomed, valued, and respected. Our differences make our school community stronger, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone belongs. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, and hateful language have no place at Sheldon High School. We will not tolerate behavior that targets others because of their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, identity, or any other personal characteristic. We expect all students and staff to treat one another with kindness, dignity, and respect, whether in classrooms, hallways, at school activities, or online. This includes being thoughtful about what we say, share, and post on social media. Words and actions have an impact, and we are all responsible for contributing to a positive and respectful school community. As a reminder, students and visitors may not post, hang, or display signs, posters, flyers, or other materials anywhere on school property without prior administrative approval. This expectation helps us maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone. We ask every student and staff member to take responsibility for building a culture of kindness and respect. If you see or experience harassment, discrimination, or bullying, please speak with a trusted adult or school administrator.
• LSU is excited to announce our upcoming Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week! This week is a chance for us to celebrate Hispanic culture, show our pride, and appreciate the traditions, colors, and activities that bring our community together.
  • Tuesday: Vibrant Colors Day! Wear bright colors like pink, blue, red, and yellow to represent the energy, creativity, and colorful traditions found throughout Hispanic cultures.
  • Wednesday: Jersey Day!  Represent your favorite soccer team or wear a soccer jersey to celebrate the love of soccer throughout many Hispanic communities.
  • Thursday: Class Colors Day!  Show your school spirit by wearing your class colors! Be sure to wear your colors to the Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly.
• After school tutoring is today in the library from 3:45 to 4:45. Get some work done, get help, and maybe win a pizza. 
• Model UN. There will be a Model UN meeting Tuesday during lunch in room B-17. New members are welcome.
• GSA meets today at lunch in room F6! Join us to discuss this year's goals and plan fun activities for the future. We will have snacks, crafts, and games set up for you to enjoy. We welcome all members and allies! 
• Women in STEM meets this Thursday at lunch in B10 - Everyone is welcome to join for activities, crafts, snacks, and a good time! Bring a friend, come learn about STEM
