Good afternoon,

For several reasons, the Sheldon boys and girls basketball games, originally scheduled on Friday, Jan. 9th against South Medford, have been moved to Thursday, Jan. 8th.  The most challenging situation to navigate was actually staffing the game with experienced referees, clock managers, etc.  The biggest conflict for game personnel was the scheduled playoff game for the Oregon Duck Football program on Friday evening.

South Medford requested a few accommodations to make this work easier for their players, coaches, and fans, so we settled on a few changes to the game schedule on Thursday....

#1-  There will not be a freshman boys game.  We hope to make this game up with a different opponent later.
#2- There will be two games starting at 4pm.  MAIN GYM- Girls Varsity, UPPER GYM- Boys JV
#3- There will be two games starting at 5:30pm.  MAIN GYM- Boys Varsity, UPPER GYM- Girls JV

A sincere apology to all fans who this change creates a barrier for;  A change would not have been considered without the need to have adequate and experienced staff at the game.
