• The form to submit your photos for the Senior Breakfast Video is still open! Be sure to turn them in! Additionally, tickets for senior breakfast are now being sold in front of the office before school, during lunch, and after school! It’s $15 per ticket and you may purchase a maximum of two tickets, one for you and one for a guest! We have a limited number of tickets so make sure to buy them soon!

• Your own Key Club is throwing a Boys Volleyball Tournament fundraiser dedicated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Cancer Program. The game will take place on May 19th, in the Sheldon Main Gym at 6:30 pm. If you or any of your friends would like to participate by signing up to play in the game, please visit Sheldon Key Club’s personal instagram for more information or come into their weekly club meetings during lunch every TUESDAY in C9.
• Support Sheldon spirit, culture, and community during the 2023-2024 school year by joining Leadership! Run for class president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, senator, or executive board positions. Applications are now open through Friday, May 19th. See posters hung around school and information posted on the TV screens or sheldon.highschool Instagram page. Get in touch with Megan Perdue with any questions you might have.
• Seniors: The checklist is updated every other day and posted in the front office window in ID order. Please remember, if you pay an outstanding fee or complete a required task, it will not be updated on the list in the window until the next posting day. Graduation tickets will be available starting Monday, May 15 to those students that are cleared.
• Sheldon’s 2023 Junior/Senior Prom will take place

Saturday, May 13 at the Graduate Hotel from 8-11pm. It is $55 for two tickets and $30 for one. Buy tickets before school, during lunch, and after school from Monday, April 17 through Wednesday, May 10. Hope to see you there!

• Black Student Union meeting will be held in C-9 today at lunch, All students are welcome to attend knowing that we are supporting our BIPOC students and Community. African American and MultiCultural students are encouraged to attend and participate in activities in order to share their heritage with our Sheldon community.
• Let’s celebrate our teachers for teacher appreciation week by sending them a card! Who is your trusted adult on campus? During lunch today there will be a table set up in the courtyard with cards to send to your trusted teachers! All cards will be delivered on Thursday.
• Are you interested in joining the Shamrock Yearbook staff for next year? If so, fill out the application found either in your canvas course for advisory or under the yearbook section on the school’s website. There aren’t many seats left, and so apply now.
• Dance Team Tryouts are coming up!
