Good Morning, Irish!
- Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! Join us in celebrating the rich cultural heritage and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities from September 15 to October 15. This month, we honor the histories, cultures, and achievements of Hispanic Americans and the Indigenous peoples who have enriched our nation and society. We would like to start off by acknowledging that we are on Calapuyan land to honor the Kalapuya descendants and ancestors. Important Dates During Hispanic Heritage Month
- September 15 – Independence Day for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala,
- Honduras, and Nicaragua
- September 16 – Independence Day for Mexico
- September 18 – Independence Day for Chile
- September 21 – Independence Day for Belize
- The Asian and Pacific Islander Student Union is having the first meeting of the year today September 15, during lunch in C7. This is a safe and supportive space for all students who appreciate and want to learn more about the cultures and people of Asia and Pacific Islands. Come join us
- After School Tutoring is back! Starting today there will be tutoring in the library from 3:45-4:45. We will have teachers from various subject areas there to help you. Tutoring will occur every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there.
- Today is the day to meet with an Admissions Counselor from Southern Oregon University! Stop by A-1 at 3:30 and get your questions answered about admissions, programs, scholarships and MORE! See you then!
- The Environmental Club will have its first meeting this Wednesday at lunch in S7. If you're interested in the environment or learning to garden, then the Environmental Club is the club for you. Hope to see you Wednesday at lunch in S7.
