• Today the Irish Fishing Club will be meeting at lunch in Mr. Wright’s room (portable #3). Bring your lunch with you and come get acclimated to the greatness, that is, the IFC.
• Join LSU in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our Spirit Week. Today is Cultural Wear Day and Friday is Wear Your Flag Colors Day.
• For community service experience come to Interact Club in classroom B-14 during lunch today.
• Sheldon’s Women in STEM Club is back! Come for snacks, a fun activity, and a chance to meet awesome people who love science, tech, engineering, and math. Everyone’s welcome so grab a friend and stop by today in room B5 during Lunch.
• The Sheldon Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams are hosting a free fall ball clinic this Sunday, October 19. Any new and returning players are encouraged to attend. The clinic will be on the Sheldon turf from 10 to 11:45 AM this Sunday, October 19. Reach out to the captains or check the Instagram post for more information.
• Our new Business Club called Sheldon DECA, will meet this Monday (10/20) at lunch in A6 - Mr. Phillipo's Room. If you are interested in pursuing a career in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Entrepreneurship, you'll want to be part of this club. We'll have some snacks.
• You are invited today to the art room F5 for the art club. Play games, make art, and enjoy the community of creative folks at your school. All are welcome.
• Come to the College & Career Center in A-1 to visit with university and organization reps this week! The University of Portland will be here TODAY from 2-2:30. The University of Southern California will be here FRIDAY morning between 8 and 8:45 and the United States Army will also be here Friday during lunch.  On Monday, you WILL NOT WANT TO MISS a visit from University of Oregon! Their Assistant Director of Recruitment will start her presentation at 11:45 in C-9. Don't forget that students that stop by and visit with our guests can enter to win prizes in drawings that will occur throughout the year!
