• BSU meets every Thursday at lunch in B29 The Govna Summerfield's Classroom. Show your support by attending our gathering. All students are welcome to our safe space. 
• Attention Sheldon Irish: Midterm grading is Monday, November 10th. Stop by After School Tutoring this week to get help on those classes before those Midterm Grades are due. We meet in the Library every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:45-4:45. Everyone is welcome.
• Cell phones and personal electronic devices must be turned off and put away during instructional time.
  • This applies everywhere in the building during class periods— classrooms, hallways, and restrooms are included in this (even if you have a free period during that time)
  • Phones may only be used before school, after school, during passing periods, morning break, and at lunch.I want to remind everyone that at no time should you be filming or taking pictures of anyone on campus for any reason without their permission. Remember: this isn’t just about rules — it’s about creating a strong, respectful learning environment where everyone can focus and succeed. Thank you for doing your part and remember our ROSE -  Always respect Others, our Self and our Environment.  
• The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets today at lunch in room F6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts,  learn about queer history, and build community. 
• Attention Seniors.  If you care to have a quote to be included with your portrait in the yearbook, you can find the Google Form in the Canvas advisory for November 4.  The deadline to submit a senior quote is December 5.  A reminder that senior portraits are due by December 1st. 
• Tomorrow, be sure to stop by the College & Career Center in A-1 starting at 2:15 to visit with Portland State University! Come meet their admissions counselors to find out about admissions, programs, scholarships and MORE!!
  • Don't forget that students that stop by and visit with our guests can enter to win prizes in drawings that will occur throughout the year!!
• Join us to learn about the 2026 Track & Field season on Thursday, November 13th during lunch from 12:05-12:30 in the Lecture Hall (C-9). Come learn about the sport of track & field, winter conditioning, and how to join the team. Go Irish!
