- SHELDON High School, Welcome back from Spring Break! Please remember that phones and other personal electronic devices are to be "off and away all school day". This includes breaks, hallways, and on campus lunch times. Thanks for helping to keep the learning environment Respectful for yourself and others.
- Parking Reminders:
- You must have a valid SHS parking pass displayed to park at Sheldon. See the Finance Office if you need a parking pass to see if there are any more remaining. If you park without a permit during the school day, you may be ticketed.
- In addition, we are hearing reports that students are parking in the Community Center parking lot next door. This is not a place to park as this is not a Sheldon lot. Your car may be towed or ticketed if you park there. Please be good neighbors.
- Students, please bring your laptop to school every day fully charged. Your laptop is an important part of your daily work routine and is needed to complete your class assignments. Loaner laptops are only given out in the office if you are taking a quiz/ test in the classroom.
- Join the Jewish Student Union tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st to learn about Passover and have some Passover snacks. We will be meeting in room C-2. Everyone is welcome; both jewish students and allies.
- The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets today at lunch in room F-6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts, learn about queer history, and build community.
- ATTENTION SOPHOMORE AND JUNIORS! Do you demonstrate scholarship, leadership, character, and service in your school and community? If so, you could be a great addition to the Sheldon National Honor Society! Applications are now open. You can find the application on posters around the school or on the Sheldon NHS Instagram page. Joining NHS is a great way to recognize your dedication to academics, leadership, and service, while also strengthening your college applications. We encourage all eligible students to apply and look forward to reviewing your application!
- After School Tutoring is available in the Library every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. We are almost halfway through Semester 2 and midterms are close. Stop by Tutoring for help with your classes or a place to get some work done. All are welcome! Hope to see you there.
